PMagency is delighted to be working with a private equity-backed healthcare services group to recruit a Senior Transformation Programme Manager. The role is internally titled Head of Group Projects and would ideally suit someone based within commutable distance of Reading, with some travel across the UK, Germany and Italy.

Reporting to the Group CEO, the Senior Transformation Programme Manager will work closely with the CFO, country-level CEOs and senior leadership teams across the group. The role will act as the central programme office for the Group CEO’s strategic agenda, ensuring key initiatives have clear ownership, milestones, reporting, risk management and executive visibility. The position combines programme management, transformation and cross-border coordination in a fast-paced private equity-backed environment.

  • Translate group strategic initiatives into clear workstreams, working with senior stakeholders to establish ownership, milestones and delivery plans.
  • Drive and track strategic projects across functions and geographies, ensuring progress against cost, pricing and growth initiatives.
  • Implement and manage KPI dashboards, reporting frameworks, monthly business reviews and board materials.
  • Support governance across the group by ensuring actions are followed through, risks are escalated and leadership commitments are tracked.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering complex cross-functional projects, programmes or transformation initiatives.
  • Background in strategy, consulting, private equity portfolio operations, programme management or operational leadership.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders across multiple functions, with the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Strong organisational, analytical and reporting skills, with the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders where required.

This is a full-time role ideally based close to Reading, with some travel across the UK, Germany and Italy. The salary is £80,000 to £90,000, depending on experience. This is a senior position with direct exposure to the Group CEO, CFO, country-level CEOs and the Board.
