Technical Project Manager

PMagency is delighted to be working with a well-established UK-based specialist delivering bespoke architectural and construction manufacturing solutions on complex commercial projects. The role is based in Faversham and will be primarily office based, working closely with design, manufacturing and delivery teams.

This Technical Project Manager role sits at the centre of design, manufacture and project delivery, reporting into senior operational leadership and working alongside Project Coordinators, Design, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams. The focus is on ensuring all projects are technically robust, fully costed and approved prior to release, with strong control over programme, quality and margin throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Own the technical review and release of drawings, BOMs and documentation, ensuring manufacturability, cost accuracy and client sign-off before production
• Lead end-to-end project delivery planning, maintaining control of programme, resources, risk and change with clear reporting to senior stakeholders
• Implement and oversee quality control and supplier performance processes to reduce rework, defects and delivery risk
• Drive continuous improvement across workflows, lessons learned and team capability, embedding a right first time delivery culture

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in technical project delivery within manufacturing, fabrication or construction-led environments
• Strong understanding of design-to-manufacture workflows and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience implementing or managing quality control, process assurance or supplier performance frameworks
• High level of commercial awareness with experience managing cost, margin and delivery risk
